Welcome to Shagreene.com. Now that I’ve had a few days to get out of New York and catch up on my sleep, I am making my second official post. I’ve also spent two days in ever-inspiring Palm Springs and have already seen so many great things – a Chinese chandelier made out of Kingfisher feathers, Wayne Thibeaud and Avedon at the Palm Springs Art Museum, plus visits to my favorite antique shops. I’m also going to check out the Ace Hotel. (I drove by it and I’m underwhelmed from 111 but keeping an open mind). However, before I get ahead of myself, I’m going to start with a post about rock formations at The Tides in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The beautiful rock details partly inspired Shagreene.com. So, as I dust off my reporting and writing skills, please join me in giving this blog its second baby bottle.
